Network Designer & Implementer - Security

Senovo IT is urgently looking for a Network Designer & Implementer - Security in the Netherlands, 6 months + extension contract as a Freelancer.

Please find below the skills needed and job description:

Design and execute network technology solutions from the infrastructure service catalogue to meet the demand of the client.
Identify and document network infrastructure risks that can be raised to the client.
To manage multiple concurrent network infrastructure projects and effective management of priorities.
Strong contribution to project planning and execution.
Lead/Technical network consultancy to all infrastructure teams covering a wide range of technologies
Work with diverse teams and cultures to deliver infrastructure managed services as expected by the client.
Strong experience designing both high-level and low-level network infrastructure solutions
Strong experience with implementation of network solutions in a global organization
Successful track record in working within a global network infrastructure team in a large, complex production environment
Expertise required in enterprise security that includes Firewalls (Checkpoint & Cisco Meraki). Preferable expertise in routing, switching, wireless (Cisco) & Data Center LAN (Cisco NEXUS/VXLAN)
Proven analytical skills and attention to detail
Cisco/ITIL Certification
Excellent written and verbal communication
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Engineering, or 10+ years of equivalent experience
Most recent 5+ years working knowledge of various security technologies such as Firewalls. Checkpoint 1k, 3k & 5k security appliance is a must. Meraki MX series is a must also.
Can demonstrate successful experience with working within an infrastructure project environment. This includes the ability to: design & implement security solutions, build & configure Checkpoint & Meraki from scratch (end to end), build Firewall policies and push for Checkpoint R77/R80 & Meraki MX series & troubleshoot Firewall issues using Checkpoint & Meraki
