Network Design Architect, Telecomms, Paris/Cheshire, Fluent French, £300 per day

An international Telcomms client urgently requires a fluent French - speaking Network Design Architect on a 6 week rolling contract who is able to travel to Paris at least 3 days a week to work on a migration of Datacentres and Network Centres. The daily rate for this initially short term piece of work would be £300 per day and expenses are paid for travel from UK to Paris. The client can advise the candidate where to stay but this accommodation is not expensed.

You will meet the following requirements:

In charge of the detailed data center design, client outsourcing in charge of the application migration, and the customer in charge of the low level design.

Design focused Architect - Participation in customer meetings for technical decisions taken with client Delivery and client SO Delivery, preparation of technical proposals for the Data Centermodel and customer validation

Receives change requests from customer on the network design, evaluates impacts, reviews impacts with customer and client SO Delivery, participates in the datacenter migration project for network and security (VLAN, transfer methodology, pre-production test, analyses the current configuration of services, review of the configuration and impact change due to technology migration).

Checkpoint VSX Firewall

Cisco ASA Firewall

Riverbed Steelhead WAN optimization appliances

Please note this role will start ASAP and will be a one stage interview. You also have to be able to speak French fluently. You will also need to be immediately available to start this assignment.
