Network Deployment Regional Project Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:As a Network Deployment Project Manager, you will be responsible for the deployment plan by which our client will deploy our dark fiber and lit services network, required to connect hundreds of various types of network nodes. As part of a regional team, you will lead the dark fiber deployment for a multi-state area. You will manage multiple install and testing crews, via external sub-contractors and internal partners to manage the execution of the deployment plan.

QUALIFICATIONS:

-5 to 10 years of experience deploying layer zero facilities to support the deployment of fiber optic networks
-Experience leading crews in facility installation (racks, power, infrastructure) and services contracts.
-Experience managing internal and external teams to deploy fiber optic cable and optical equipment.
-Experience with fiber optic characterization testing and evaluation.
-Experience with end-to-end test and turn-up of network optical equipment.
-Problem (fix) resolution with fiber and optical equipment providers.
-Experience developing fiber optic network deployment program schedules from the ground up.
-Experience in tracking progress, documentation and updates of project status.
-Effective communication skills with all levels of management.
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
-Ability to travel up to 40% domestic and international.
