Network Defense Design Validation Engineer - Secret Clearance

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a NETWORK DEFENSE DESIGN ENGINEER to join our client in Quantico, Virginia.

POSSESSION OF A DOD SECRET CLEARANCE (TS ELIGIBLE) IS REQUIRED AS A CONDITION FOR EMPLOYMENT.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Network Defense Validation Staff Engineer: Application of advanced subject matter knowledge within a defined technical specialty, captures and records key performance indicators, and is regarded as a subject matter expert on network defense configuration requirements, network security principals and certification testing.
- Contributes to the development of new validation ideas and methods.
- Works complex problems/projects where analysis of situations or data requires an in depth evaluation of multiple factors.
- Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives.
- Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives.
- Superior knowledge and extensive experience of operational CoSC services enabling effective development and evaluation of reports on network defense validation services.
- SME in designing and documenting technical process and procedures in support of certification testing.
- Frequently represents the activity and shall participate in offsite meetings in the local Quantico, VA area, conference calls, video teleconferences and web conferences.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- DoD Secret Clearance (TS eligible)
- Master's degree in IT related studies, ITILv3 Foundations certification, Professional Level Technical certification for the technology supported (Preferred)
- USMC approved Marine Corps C&A Solution Tool (MCCAST) Validator course, USMC Cyber security Methodology course, CNSS 4016
- DoD 8570 certification: IAT-II, IAT-III, IASAE - II, IASAE - III or any CND Certification (Security+ minimum)
