Network/Cyber Security Lead

We are looking for a Network/Cyber Security Lead in CA, details:

LOCATION: IRVINE, CA

DURATION: 12 MONTHS

START: 2 WEEKS

Role Coverage:

This position is for a certified multidisciplinary cybersecurity leader with years of practical hands-on experience in commercial and/or government sectors. Especially skilled in making enterprise security understandable to the business and finding solutions to direct and ambiguous security problems. This position analyzes and assesses vulnerabilities in the infrastructure (software, hardware, networks), investigates available tools and countermeasures to Remedy the detected vulnerabilities, and recommends solutions and best practices. Analyzes and assesses damage to the data/infrastructure as a result of security incidents, examines available recovery tools and processes, and recommends solutions. Tests for compliance with security policies and procedures across the following IT domains:

Security and Risk Management
Security Engineering
Communications and Network Security
Identity and Access Management
Security Assessment and Testing
Security Operations
Cloud Services Integration Security
Software Development and Architecture Security
Voice and Mobile Services Security

Attributes Required :

Strong desire to operate as a self-starter and be comfortable working in an ambiguous, yet fast-paced, environment
Superb speaking, writing and influencing skills are required as the opportunity to present verbally or in written form to IT and business leadership is frequent
Proven ability to identify and develop clear and understandable security capability strategic views from high-level business objectives and technology constraints
Robust knowledge of information security principles, frameworks and best practices
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Proven experience identifying solutions for complex problems in enterprise environments
Demonstrated relevant security expertise in designing security solutions for a mix of technology areas

Education and Experience Requirements:
Master's degree in Information Systems Security or related field, or equivalent work experience
Minimum 10 years' experience in information security or information technology disciplines
At least 7 years of Information Security architecture and/or strategy
Certified Ethical Hacker extremely beneficial
CISSP highly beneficial

Experience Preferences:
NIST and ISO Certification expertise
Sarbanes-Oxley Act, Safe Harbor and other Federal and International Compliance/Regulatory experience.
