Network Consultant - Norway

Darwin's client is looking to recruit a Network Consultant to be based in Oslo, Norway for an initial 6 month period with possible extension.

In this role you will be in charge of the solution design, network engineering and escalation support.

You will also be responsible for:

- Troubleshoot and resolve network problems.
- Have the ability to quickly identify and resolve problems stemming from network congestion, network collisions and other network abnormalities.
- Will be required to monitor, meet and report on Service Level Agreements.
- Implement and Manage network policies and standards.

You will need to have experience in as much of the following as possible:

- Relevant working experience on Cisco/HP Networking Switches and Routers.
- Relevant working experience on Checkpoint (IDS/Firewalls) and F5 Load Balancers.
- Experience and solid understanding of data network systems, routing and layer 2 protocols.
- Experience of VPN technologies and implementation on Routers and Firewalls.
- Design and implement complex data and voice systems, network configurations, business continuity, disaster recovery and integration of technologies.
- Recognized expert in data network and IP network technology and best practices.
