Projektbeschreibung
Role: Network Consultant
Location: Geneva, Switzerland
Contract Duration: 6 months (extendable)
DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK
- Provide First level and Second Level support for the 'managed infrastructure composed of Network, Firewall, Application Delivery Controllers, Security and Network Gateways.
- Provide First and Second level support for managed Cisco IP telephony services
- Contact and interaction with customers' Network and Security personnel
- Contact and interaction with suppliers, external vendors and maintenance service providers
- Install and replace Network equipment. Verify physical Network connections.
- Monitor, review and plan upgrade of Network equipment and operating systems, Network application software versions.
- Prepare new, review and update technical documentations
- Maintain the Network configuration templates
- Additional Network related changes and configuration based on customer requests and signed proposals
- Standby support (outside work hours) when required
FUNCTIONAL AND TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Expert knowledge and skills to configure:
o Cisco Catalyst 6509 Switches running in VSS mode (High-Availability)
o Cisco Catalyst 3750 or 3850 Distribution and Access Switches
o Cisco Nexus 5000 and 7000 Switches
o Cisco Wireless Lan Access controllers
o Cisco ASA Firewalls
o Cisco ASR and ISR Routers
o Cisco ACS
o VPN Site-to-Site, DMVPN and FlexVPN
- Basic skills to administer Cisco Call Managers versions 9 or 10
- Desirable experience with Checkpoint Firewalls
- Desirable experience with F5 Application Delivery Controllers
- Desirable experience with Cisco ISE
- Desirable experience with Linux and Scripting tools
- Desirable experience with HP NNMi and other network monitoring tools
- Sound knowledge of TCP/IP Networking and protocols
EXPERIENCE:
1. Five or more years hands-on experience managing and configuring Cisco networking and security devices
2. Three years or more of experience working in a 7/24 Data Centre environment.
3. Desirable experience with Cisco IP telephony
DESIRABLE CERTIFICATIONS:
1. CCNA, CCNP or CCIE
LANGUAGE:
1. Excellent English
2. French (verbal) - desirable
THE RESOURCE SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING CHARACTERISTICS:
1. Communicate in a credible and effective way
2. Produces effective written communications. Ensures that information is shared
