Network Consultant

For our client, a German property group, we currently require a Technical Network Consultant to support their integration into the end clients WAN and Global infrastructure standards.

Title: Technical consultant.

Location: Frankfurt / Berlin (small travel between the two, mostly will be Frankfurt).

Dates: ASAP for 3 Months++

Languages: German and English required

The role will be to assist with the integration of IT assets from a recent acquisition. Ideally the candidate would have experience in large organizations (5k + users) and will be familiar with all that this entails (CAB, Pre-prod, prod, scheduling, service delivery etc, etc).

Technology wise experience with any / all of the following would be useful:

- Windows Operating systems (Desktop Win7 +, Server 2003 +)
- VMware vCenter 5
- Active Directory & Group Policy
- Networking (TCP/IP)
- Exchange 2010
- SCCM 2012 (OS and app rollout)
- Vision Solutions Double-Take

The candidate needs to be an intelligent, bright forward thinker. Excellent communications/stakeholder management, technical all-rounder, politically savvy, can operate locally but stay loyal to the customer EMEA team in the centre and of course, be bilingual German and English). They will be placed with more senior resources and will be expected to input to and assist with implementing migration plans according to the architecture that will be defined by the other resources.
