Network Consultant

My client based in Lyon are looking for a Network Consultant on an initial 6 month project.

You will be working on a number of projects based around the networks and telecom infrastructure, working directly in the datacentre and alongside the outsourced orgniasation partnering with te client.

You will

- Carry out the transfer of these activities with our partners to reduce involvement of the team on recurring activities
- Following the completion of the audit of our policies in some European countries
- Perform the upgrade of the platform and Riverbed working with HP to offer optimizations.

Monitoring developments of the technical infrastructure of the data center:
o Firewall platforms; IPS-IDS;
o Riverbed
o Bluecoat Proxy;
o Environment LAN (switch, PacketShaper, Router);
o Remote Access SSL VPN
- Management of public DNS requests
- Management of incidents when climbing;
- Participation in the Process Problem, Change and Capacity Management.
- Support for IT resources on applications involving infrastructure.

You must have experience with

- Good technical knowledge of WAN (MPLS, Routing, ...);
- Very good operational knowledge Datacenter network technologies (Switch, Proxy, LoadBalancer, Firewalll, ...);
- General knowledge systems: Active Directory, Linux,
- ITIL Certification or knowledge of ITIL

FRENCH WOULD BE ADVANTAGEOUS THOUGH NOT ESSENTIAL
