NETWORK ARCHITECT

My client, a well established IT services company is looking for a talented Network Architect

Job Role:

Creating a Physical Design Document (PDD) from an existing Technical Architecture Design, liaising with onsite and offsite client network teams who will be using the PDD produced to perform the actual implementation/configuration. The resource should be comfortable creating physical designs to a low level, ensuring secure physical connections across several sites.

Skills:

A variety of skills required including LAN/WAN connectivity, Firewall Rules specification/Configuration (in a secure environment), Identifying Port Numbers and Parameters, Cisco Router configuration, Cisco Switch configuration, Network Card installation, Cisco Access Layer LAN switching, Cisco Security Manager, VPN over Internet configuration, Network Performance monitoring.

Network Protocols:

IPv4, HTTPS, SSH, Telnet, HTTP, FTP, sFTP, RDP, NTP, ICMP, SNMP, Isakmp/IKE, NAT-T, ESP
