Network Architect

NETWORK ARCHITECT

The network system architect is directly responsible for the architecture (HW & SW) Ethernet-based network architecture, or integration-including third party equipment and integration into the client's network.

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE (NETWORK ARCHITECT)

* Seeks connection with service managers and IT managers to translate the needs of the client to network architectures and requirements for our products,
* Able to reach a solution within a complex and very conflicting or at business requirements.
* University education in technical engineering as SW, Physics, Mathematics or Electronics.
* Understanding of the business strategy and development
* Several years of experience as in creating network architectures.
* Experienced in technical leadership.
* Proven track record in setting up IT infrastructure
* Extensive knowledge on networking protocols and hardware (Switches, Routers, ..)
* Security Knowledge
* Good understanding of storage concepts - SAN, NAS, DAS
* Good knowledge of operating systems

* Knows how to engage technical people in coming to the Proposed Solution
* Lateral thinker with helicopter view, capable of finding solutions covering the appropriateness Implications in other disciplines
* Good analytical skills

* Has contacts with other specialists.
* Is recognized by others, outside own organization as specialst/leader
* Ability to work with senior management as well as engineers
