Network Architect

Our client is currently seeking an experienced and motivated network architect to be part of the VANguard Program team responsible for managing the current environments and extending the VANguard services to meet business needs.

WORK REQUIREMENTS:

- Design, specification, procurement, build and documentation of new infrastructure projects including appropriate handover to VANguard and OES operations teams.
- Development and maintenance of network infrastructure designs and security architectures in accordance with VANguard and OES objectives.
- Problem solving and resolution of production issues.
- Ensure relevant whole of government and industry standards and policies (particularly around security, interoperability and authentication) are adhered to.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

The successful applicant will require experience in:

- Network and security architecture for secure web systems in a government environment.
- F5, CheckPoint, Cisco and Juniper
