Network and Voice Engineer - Belgium

Skills and experience:
- Must have a level of proficiency with Internet, Email, and Microsoft programs
- Cisco Network Infrastructure (WAN/LAN Engineering)
- Cisco Wireless networking infrastructure
- Routing/Switching Design and Validation
- WAN Circuit provisioning, monitoring and optimizing
- Network services (DNS, DHCP, etc.)
- Cisco Voice-over-IP
- PBX Based Voice technologies (sunsetting technology)
- Understanding of Enterprise Architecture processes such as TOGAF
- Understanding of IT Management processes such as ITIL
- Diagraming skills for system design artifact creation
- Strategic thinking and roadmap design for multi-year model
- Ability to collaborate with project and operations teams for development of solutions
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Preferred - CCIE, CCDE, CCAr, CCDP. Any of those certs in Voice is also preferred
- Communicates tactfully and effectively both verbally and in writing, and maintains effective work relations with those encountered during the course of employment
- Flexibility and adaptability to new instructions and/or dynamic organizational priorities is critical for job success.
Description of work:
- Responsible for solution design and architecture of the technologies related to networking (LAN/WAN) and Voice/Voice-over-IP technologies
- Includes defining and translating business requirements into system design specifications and creating/facilitating the actual solution design
- Responsible for contributing to the overall Enterprise Architecture and development of all strategy, roadmaps and design principles for the related technologies
- Establishes standards and provides documentation for standards and current state designs
- Acts as forward thinking and innovation source for the areas of responsibility
- Acts as Level 3 and Level 4 troubleshooting resource when needed.
