Network and Security - Presales - MUST Speak English/Dutch and French

T4S are currently looking for Network and Security engineers with experience within Pre-sales, this is an indefinite contract position.

To enable the winning of medium to Large (international) service and solution deals through solutions designs that meet customers requirements and are recognized as cost competitive. To contribute to profitable service/solution business by taking accountability that services/solution can be delivered as designed, are suited for future standardization and related risks are understood.

TECH & FUNC SKILLS

Create Designs that meet customer expectation and require minimal rework, following review
Works within the contractual context of an outsourcing contract and initialises as such also contractual changes
Design Solution that meets the appropriate optimized cost point within contractual context
Design solution conform the prescribed processes and methodologies for development of solutions and their approvals
Maximized used of business standard Portfolio, Service Elements and Delivery capability
Regular contribution to and users of company knowledge repositories and events
Lead virtual teams in pre-sales as Lead Architect 
Winning new business in cross and/or upselling in existing contracts 
Ensures deliverability of the solution

Experience in designing solutions as a pre Sales architect for managed services and outsourcing projects is a must. This can vary from complete solutions to additional demands/change requests going from 10K to over 1 million EUR

Solid knowledge of Network and Security Services and Service Management solutions including

DATACENTER TECHNOLOGIES

Cisco CCNP knowledge level (or from other vendors)

Minimum of 5 years of relevant pre sales experience with Datacenter Network technologies: Design, Implementation, Consultancy

Good understanding emerging Layer 2 fabrics (Brocade VCS (VDX), Cisco FabricPath (Nexus)

Able to design L2, L3 networks (VLAN, inter VLAN routing, spanning tree, static routing, OSPF, BGP, VRF ...) and converged networks (FCOE)

Able to design load balancing solutions (F5, Cisco ACE, brocade adx) and SSL offload solutions

Very good understanding of virtualization (VMware server virtualization, Network virtualization)

Very good knowledge of security (able to design security zones, DMZ, ...)

Good understanding of Firewalls, VPN, proxies

Good understanding of cloud concepts

Experience with defining migration strategies

Experience with Cisco, Juniper and Brocade LAN devices

Knowledge of SAN & storage is a plus

SERVICE MANAGEMENT

- Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture in multi-tower context
- Solid understanding of ins and outs of the different service towers and their interaction
- General knowledge of broad spectrum IT domains
- Translation of business requirements to a customer solution in a contractual context
- Strong Commercial awareness and business focus
- Knowledge of Service Management and service delivery modelling
- Knowledge of Transition and Transformation of complex environments is recommended
- Solid writing and presentation skills
- Cost model understanding, modification and creation
- Experience in working with near- and Off shore delivery and pricing models
- Specialist university degree or equivalent experience
- Good knowledge of solution development life cycle
- Experienced in specific technology area's (from past functions)
- Bachelor or equivalent experience
