DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
Cisco VoIP/Juniper and Data Network Operations. Work as part of a telecom support team responsible for the implementation and support of complex data networks in North America. Activities include all aspects of support from advanced technical troubleshooting; integration and configuration of network products, network hardware/software installations and upgrades; optimization and performance management of the network environment.
PRIMARY SKILLSET:
Advanced working knowledge of network/Cisco VoIP technologies; Juniper/Cisco CCNA and above or similar experience, (Router-serial, E-Net,switch-VLAN, Wireless); Protocols (TCP/IP, ATM, MPLS, Frame Relay CAT OS/IOS), Netscout, VPN's, Advanced IP Routing(EIGRP/BGP), Firewall and Cisco ACL. Excellent analytical, problem solving skills. Good writing skill. Adherence to safety policies, security and controls requirements are a must.
SECONDARY SKILLSET:
Microsoft NT Server/Desktop, QOS. Netscout
COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
Strong presentation and high quality verbal, and written communication. A strong team orientation, Able to deal with technical and non-technical employees
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:
Experience in network design, MS Access, good understanding of business concepts.
PPE REQUIRED:
Steel toe boots, safety glasses, gloves
WORK HOURS: Mon-Fri 8 hours per day, (8-5), excluding Stat Holidays and EDOs or as mutually agreed upon On-Call Services Required? : 10% of time Call-Out Services Required? : 10% of time Travel may be required? : 5% of time
