Network Analyst (Great pay rate )

NETWORK ANALYST

Applicant should have general data network operations experience covering WAN and LAN routing and switching, DNS/IP address management, Firewalls, load balancing, VPN and VoIP/QoS for medium to large, global enterprises.

This position will assist the existing network staff by taking ownership of service requests, incident tickets, and by participating in design and implementation projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Resolve incidents through effective troubleshooting methodology

Fulfill user service requests for Firewall port configuration, DNS, etc. within the pre-determined service level timeframes

Assist others in the troubleshooting and fulfillment processes

Provide fundamental design and consultation on projects and other special requests

Track time per department guidelines

Update network documentation when applicable

Address security concerns by resolving issues associated with vulnerability scans

Liaison with WAN data network carriers

Document configurations and process

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

CCNA or greater experience with Cisco networking

F5 BigIP experience

Familiarity with Service Now or service management systems

Ability to manage many requests at the same time

Ability to quickly get up to speed on process

Ability to work after hours and weekends as needed

Work Conditions

After hours and weekends may be required in order to meet project deadlines and to accommodate change windows

Ability to be onsite during normal business hours - work remote/from home only on a limited basis

Ability to resolve incidents independently but seek assistance when necessary

Ability to clearly communicate to all levels of management

Ability and willingness to clearly communicate status to stakeholders and requestors

Work well under pressure during troubleshooting - ability to logically resolve problems

REQUIRED EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE:

CCNA or greater certification
