Network Analyst

12 months contract position of Network Analyst in Tallahassee, FL

FIM Administrator will be responsible for both ADFS and FIM (Forefront Identity Manager) activities. The ADFS Administrator (Active Directory Federated Services) will only be responsible for ADFS activities.
ADFS Developer (ADFS Administrator position) and administrator responsible for development and support of SSO ADFS infrastructure.
Design and create long term support plan to support new LEAs and Applications added to the SSO environment.
Designs the application specific attributes, configures and maintains ADFS for user provisioning by LSS and to manage application specific attributes.
Manage password self-service reset and synchronization
Manage users, groups, and passwords using ADFS and FIM
Support and improve long term support plan to support new LEAs and Applications added to the SSO environment
Understanding the program requirements and project goals and using that understanding to produce project deliverables
Actively participate in meetings or other project activities to produce project deliverables
Researching and maintaining knowledge of emerging technologies and possible application to the project/program

Create a data staging area for external researchers and secure portal access to de-identified unit record data;
Formalize a data governance structure;
Enhance the current metadata application; and Automate the data request approval process.
Implement a data mining tool to analyze data anomalies and identify potential program and policy areas of need; and
Introduce a report building tool that provides data to stakeholders in a user friendly format available via the Web.
Provide accessibility through a portal to state data, reports, and applications with a single sign-on;
Develop a set of minimum standards for Local Instructional Improvement Systems;
Establish the Local Systems Exchange, an electronic venue for local education agencies to share their ideas, knowledge and systems with each other; and

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience
3 to 5 years of IT work experience in infrastructure/network environments in network design, implementation, administration and support
3 to 5 years' experience implementing and/or supporting Microsoft Active Directory and/or Active Directory Federated Services and FIM (Forefront Identity Manager) integrating Microsoft security and/or network components into the environment
Experience architecting and/or implementing enterprise-level web-based single sign-on solutions involving multiple, disparate domains and applications
Experience integrating applications with multi-tiered security models into a web-based single sign-on solution
Experience implementing security policies and procedures (ie, user log-on and authentication rules)
Technical knowledge of web, Client Server, network topology, and network infrastructure
Experience implementing and/or supporting virtual Servers (ie MS Virtual Server, VMWare, etc.)
Candidate must be a team player with excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication
