Network Administrator - Senior

TITLE: NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR - SR

LOCATION: PASENDA, CA.                                         

POSITION OVERVIEW 

The Network Services Access, Configuration, Tools Management group is currently seeking an HP NETWORK AUTOMATION (HPNA) ENGINEER to participate in all aspects of HPNA DOCUMENTATION & CONFIGURATION AUDIT program. The qualified candidate will be able to quickly grasp Kaiser's networking process flows and manage the network device inventory using the HPNA Software Suite. 

QUALIFICATIONS 
The qualified candidate must have a solid understanding of process flows, auditing, data analysis and quality assurance along with a general understanding of networking technologies.

Successful candidates will also: 

Have 3 to 5 years with networking and telecommunication technologies 
Have 2 to 5 years' experience working with Network Automation 
Have the ability to effectively manage projects and align goals with the business needs of the end-users and the organization. 
Be proficient with the following software tools: Remedy, Microsoft Office including Excel, Word & Visio. 
Have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills from entry level users to senior management, and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative environment. 
Be highly organized, able to act independently, have an eye for detail and the ability put ideas into a tangible form. 

DUTIES 
Manage HPNA Policies, Scripts, Templates, Device Groups, 
Manage Device and User moves/adds/changes 
Work with network services engineers and third party vendors to ensure data quality
Perform periodic audits of the enterprise network 
Reconcile device inventory against other platforms 
Execute reports and compile on-going statistics 
Perform work via a repeatable process flow constantly looking for innovative ways to automate manual process steps. 
Identify, Recommend & Design integration improvements to improve data reconciliationCCNA; SQL; Scripting with: PERL, EXPECT, WFL; Project Management Institute credentials.
