Network Administrator/MS Lync/Midtown

Stable and growing company has an immediate need for a Network Administrator for an 8-12 month contract. In this role, they need a professional who has experience implementing VOIP Microsoft Lync. They are currently in the early stages of using MS Lync and they need a person to help them ramp up the VOIP feature. This is a well-known, well-established company - IT is a valued piece of the business and you will play an integral role within the organization on this project.

General Responsibililties:

- Work closely with strategic vendors and technical staff in a dynamic environment.
- Assist helpdesk and other system administrators by troubleshooting performance or connectivity problems.

Requirements:

- Strong understanding of VOIP and MS Lync and can take the department through an implementation.
- 4+ years overall networking experience, specifically Cisco supporting of Routers and Switches (2960).
- Must be able to set up VLAN on a Cisco switch and handle voice traffic.
- DNS/DHCP/DSCP

Preferences:

- CCNA, Bachelor's Degree
- MS Lync Cert desired.
