Apollo Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced CCNP level Network Administrator for a 6months + contract in Brussels.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Activities include installation, operation and maintenance of operating systems across network platforms, high availability solutions and load balancing.
+ Installation, operation, support and maintenance of Network devices and their operating systems, capacity planning, performance management, security compliance
+ Support is also provided for systems management tools which monitor the operational status of the environment. Examples are SMARTS, Netscout, NetMRI, Splunk, etc.
+ Review of a DLD (detailed level design) document based on Solution Architecture with as purpose serving for the configuration of the Network & Firewall environment(s).
+ Adapting an OSG (operational security guide) to reflect and conform to the minimal standards complying to CORPORATE OPERATIONAL RISK MANAGEMENT
+ Security and state compliant monitoring is in place.
+ From a network point of view update a functional description in an existing RCEC (Review Committees External Connections certificate) document in order to describe the necessary measures to comply with the requirements of Risk & Security.

Specific tasks 3rd line support:

*Handle and solve incidents and problems implement complex changes
*Planning life cycle management
*RCEC renewals
*Creation of cookbooks with Low Level details for the configuration of Network & Firewall components

Essential Skills:

ITIL (or experience)
Agile methodology
CCDP/CCNP
Experience in Network, Firewall, VM or other platforms
Network min 5 years exp. In operational mgt
SMARTS
Netscout
CCDP/CCNP
Nexus OS, Catalyst IOS with VRF implementation: design experience
VPN Setup
Checkpoint VSX or other Firewall plateform
Bluecoat

Languages Requirements: French/Dutch and English are ESSENTIAL for this role!
