Network Administrator and Engineer

NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR & ENGINEER  - WINDOWS/CISCO/SQL SERVER/EXCHANGE/VMWARE

Tremendous opportunity for a well-rounded Network Engineer/Administrator to join a fast growing & dynamic company.

You will be responsible for both Cisco Network Engineering and Windows Server Administration. Our client has experienced rapid growth and needs a Senior Network Administrator & Engineer to take our network infrastructure to the next level to keep up with company growth. You will work on many projects, including: upgrades, conversions, migrations, new implementations, etc. You will also handle day to day administration & support as well. This is a fast paced environment and we need an Engineer who can drive projects, respond to external and internal customer needs, and be very proactive to make sure the infrastructure keeps up with the company's growth.

This  international company hosts a SaaS web portal for our customers to use that is a mission critical application for the services we provide them. You must be comfortable working in a external customer driven environment where you have to react quickly to customer needs and be comfortable working after hours to deal with critical issues. We offer 24 X 7 service, however, most of our business occurs during normal business hours.

You will work with another Senior Network Engineer and two Junior Administrators/Support Technicians.

This is a contract to hire position in Alpharetta. Excellent work environment (this company has won multiple awards for work environment & culture) including flexible hours and great benefits. There may be some travel (less than 10%) to other offices.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

- 5+ years as a Network Administrator & Network Engineer
- 5+ years of Windows Server Administration
- 5+ years of Cisco Routers and Switches
- Active Directory
- Firewall administration & configuration
- MS Exchange Administration
- SQL Server Administration
- VMware Administration
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
- Experience driving upgrades, implementations, and conversion projects
- Excellent communication skills and a team player
- Ability to provide after hours support when necessary
- Self managed & motivated
- Excellent customer service skills
