Network Administrator A+

Responsible for Windows Administration tasks. Works with vendors and end users to resolve server hardware/software issues. Monitors server performance and maintain server security. Familiarize users with network operation.

Must have installed at least 10 Servers demonstrating working knowledge level with respect to:

- Windows 2003 and Windows 2008 (security philosophy; System administration utilities; topologies)
- At least two networking protocols (one must be TCP/IP)
- 3rd party utilities (eg virus, backup, software distribution)
- Desktop Operating Systems
- OEM Server Hardware Architecture
- Where to find and when to apply technical resources
- Safety procedures related to the electrical, environmental and physical hazards associated with IT Services products/services
- Installation and configuration of the Operating System and Systems Software to an operating state in the environment
- Ability to resolve all Intel server hardware and software problems
- Perform remedial repair and preventative maintenance for Servers
- VMWare ESX 4.0/4.1
- Active Directory Windows 2003/2008 Domain
- Windows OS Cluster management

Must have:

- CompTIA A+ certification
- HP Server Warranty Certified
- 2+ years server break-fix experience
- Microsoft Windows expertise
