Network Administrator/1st-2nd Line Support Engineer needed for a 3-6 month initial contract in the West Midlands. Start ASAP ideally by 19th October 2015.

A recent CRB/DBS certificate is preferred. However, the client will also consider candidates who are willing/able to undergo the Enhanced Disclosure DBS/CRB clearance process.

Key skills/experience and tasks to include:

. Providing a high quality IT support service to remote users/clients and ensuring that SLAs are delivered by proactively managing the networks and resolving IT systems failures.
. Experience of maintaining/supporting ICT networks -eg- Windows 7/8, MS Exchange and Internet access issues.
. Responding to ICT incidents logged by the customer. Supporting users by phone, online query, email or occasional site visits.
. Carrying out routine ICT network management tasks, including daily server checks, changes to user rights, restoration of users work and other housekeeping tasks.
. Excellent customer handling and inter-personal skills, including diagnostic questioning, and the ability to deal with difficult conflict situations.
. Implementing changes to the ICT provision in line with change requests made by the customer through the change process.
. Management of problems to resolution for any network and equipment failures covering software, hardware and infrastructure problems as defined by the service level agreement (SLA).
. A current CRB/DBS certificate (Enhanced Disclosure) is preferred. Must be willing to undergo enhanced DBS/CRB check.
