NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR

SKILLS: Basic routing/switching protocols, Basic Cisco networking/wireless/unified communications, troubleshooting LAN/WAN networks, CCNA a major plus!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Supports and assists in the day-to-day global network operations, health and performance
-Responsible for configuring, monitoring, supporting, testing and troubleshooting LAN/WAN network infrastructure, including data and voice Servers, printers, peripherals, VoIP phones, cabling, etc.
-Works with the Service Desk to resolve incidents involving network access or connectivity
-Works with WAN service provider to troubleshoot and resolve circuit issues
-Updates case notes and history using on-line service desk ticketing system
-Perform network troubleshooting to isolate outages, congestions, and routing problems
-Escalates unresolved issues to outside vendors or internal Tier III support
-Utilize network monitoring tools to identify bandwidth congestion and device incidents
-Maintain and update knowledge base articles and information using information gleaned from ticket resolution

QUALIFICATIONS:

-Knowledge of Cisco networking, wireless, and unified communications
-Knowledge and ability to configure Routers, Switches and access points
-Ability to maintain and troubleshoot enterprise level LAN, WAN and WLAN networks
