NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR BENTONVILLE, AR CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY

THIS IS A 2ND OR 3RD SHIFT POSITION. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK SOME WEEKENDS AND BE ON CALL.

The candidate in this position will install, configure, and support the organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN) and Internet system/network system. CCNA would be a plus.

Must work on-site in Bentonville. This is NOT a virtual position.

MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Study and document present work flow and procedures.
- Identify potential computer networking and computer application areas.
- Configure and analyze email applications or virus protection software.
- Write, test and debug complex programs.
- Prepare system flow diagrams and develop systems procedures.
- Provide technical assistance and training to user staff and to programming and operation personnel.
- Prepare, coordinate and supervise systems implementation.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree in data processing or related field required
- Entry level to 2 years experience required
- CCNA a plus
- Ability to identify, interpret and evaluate system and network requirements
- Knowledge of networking computer hardware and software
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage one's time
