We re looking for candidates with intermediate network experience, capable of Cisco configs, Cisco knowledgeable, LAN Ethernet knowledgeable - very knowledgeable about Cisco LANs, Wireless Access points and Wireless LAN controllers. Tasks to include configuring new equipment, providing support to Memphis and support person at OKC and St. Pete, Florida over the phone. S/He would also do the tape rotations.

OVERVIEW

- Sets up, configures, and supports internal and/or external networks.
- Develops and maintains all systems, applications, security, and network configurations.
- Troubleshoots network performance issues and creates and maintains a disaster recovery plan.
- Recommends upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment.
- Provides technical support and guidance to users.
- Assists in the development and maintenance of network communications.
- Uses knowledge of LAN/WAN systems to help design and install internal and external networks.
- Tests and evaluates network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements.
- Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Works under general supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Requires a Bachelor's Degree in area of specialty and 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area
- CCNA and CompTIA Network+ required
- Familiarity with standard networking concepts, practices, and procedures
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude required
