Network Administrator

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR to join our client in Pittsburgh, PA.

Job Responsibilities:
- Cisco Network LAN and IP Telephony Administrator Candidate will provide technical administration and operational support of Cisco LAN routing and switching equipment, Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Analog and Digital Devices.
- Candidate will additionally be responsible for Cisco IPT extension and voice mail administration for existing Cisco IPT Sites.
- For new IPT site installations candidate will be responsible for utilizing the Bulk Administration tool to import phone extension information into call manager.
- Support technology improvements, such as new infrastructure installs and hardware/software upgrades and support.
- Install, configure, or test networking equipment - Cisco Routers and Switches.
- Manage and troubleshoot Cisco Analog and Digital voice gateways and devices including VG224, ATA's as well as Cisco IP phones.
- System administration for Cisco IP Telephony system.
- Configure LAN and IPT devices to be incorporated into site business networks.
- Performs troubleshooting and diagnostics for hardware and software issues on LAN related services.
- Confirm all necessary information has been captured.
- Confirm hardware is functional.
- Work directly with customers on a daily basis to meet customer - defined requirements.
- Provide consulting and training on new telecommunication services and devices.
- Provides project updates to Project Managers and Managers.
- Travel on an as needed basis.
- Provide after hour technical support as SLA's require on a rotating basis.

Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in IT, Business or related field.
- Current CCNA Certification.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Experience with Call Manager/Unified Communications Manager.
- An eagerness to learn and be proactive at maintaining and developing technical skills.
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
