Netapp Storage Cloud Support Engineer (SC Cleared)

We require a NetApp Storage Cloud Support Engineer (SC Cleared) for a 10 month contract role based on a client site in Milton Keynes to start ASAP.

Role:

To support and maintain the Client's shared hosting environments to meet SLA's and interface with the project teams on future development of the platform.

Essential skills/experience required:

Specialist knowledge of unified storage configuration
NetApp (various models)
vFiler DR and MetroCluster
OnTap 8.1 and upgrade
Snap Drive
On Command
DRS (within VMWare)
Capacity management
Provisioning storage for virtualised solutions including VMware and Hyper-V
Knowledge of managing virtual machines within shared multi-client platforms including Windows O/S (2008 & 2012)
Active Directory
An understanding of NFS, Fibre Channel, NDMP and iSCSI
Also have experience of installing, configuring and managing various tools to manage and monitor virtual environments
Hardware installation, config. and management including Blade technology.

This role requires working a standard 5 day week but you will be required to be On Call on a rota basis.
