Our Client, a Global Technology Company with operations in Leixlip Co. Kildare currently seek a Senior .NET Technical Lead to join their team on a contract basis. The role requires strong technical experience and leadership skills to provide guidance, mentoring and technical direction to other team members.
Responsibilities:
. Support all aspects of application development including development, enhancement and support
. Provide mentoring and technical leadership to a geographically distributed team
Requirements:
. Experience with multiple software applications design tools and languages.
. Good understanding of Object Oriented Design principles, software life cycle and design patterns.
. Experience in overall architecture of software applications for products and solutions.
. Expert level skills in C# and .NET technologies including:
o ASP .NET MVC
o Entity Framework or NHibernate
o Dependency injection
o Hosting and consuming Web services
. Deep understanding and experience of working with Javascript including:
o JQuery
o Object Oriented programming in Javascript
o Use of modern MVC frameworks (Angular, Backbone etc.)
o Experience working with IIS and SQL Server
. Good understanding of Datamodelling principles and relational database design
. Strong experience in Web Services creation/integration (WCF,WSDL-SOAP, REST etc.)
. OO design with emphasis on design patterns and other best practices
. Proven skills and experience with HTML and CSS
. Experience with test driven development and unit testing
. Experience leading a development team providing architectural and technical guidance and mentoring team members.
. Experience with Agile and Scrum practices
. Excellent team working and communication skills
It is a senior technical lead role and would require both technical depth and excellent leadership skills. The ideal candidate would have 10+ years .NET experience with 4+ years in a technical lead position.
