Net/SQL Server Developer - Secret Clearance Job

.NET/SQL SERVER DEVELOPER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Herndon, VA.

POSSESSION OF A SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED AS A CONDITION FOR EMPLOYMENT.

MUST BE CURRENTLY ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN THE US FOR ANY EMPLOYER.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The candidate will need strong enterprise design skills and experience in a .NET based web services environment using the SQL Server database and SQL Server Reports tool.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent in an engineering or computer field
- Two or more (2+) years of software development experience, including experience in all phases of the software development life cycle.
- Current DoD Secret clearance (based on NACLC investigation)
- .NET, HTML, CSS, XML
- C#
- Web Services (WCF)
- SQL Server 2008
- SQL Server Reports 2008
- Must have experience developing and testing .NET applications using C# and Web Services (WCF).
- Experience of performance tuning and SQL Server Reports are a plus.
- Experience with relational databases (primarily SQL Server), Web application development, and Web technologies are required.
- Knowledge of Object Oriented Design principles, MVC concepts, and data and object models are also required
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently;
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written forms
- Demonstrated ability to work within deadlines and schedules
- Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and workloads
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn emerging technologies
- Demonstrated ability to handle direct customer interaction professionally.

- Enterprise class IDE tools, WebSphere Studio Application Developer is a plus
- SCM tools, Rational ClearCase is a plus
