NET Software Developer

Synergy Consulting Group has a great .NET Software Developer contract opportunity in the Dayton, Ohio area. 

A successful candidate will have experience in application and database design, software implementation and graphical user interface design. 

The yearly salary for this position is $65,000 - $75,000 range.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

The Software Developer will be responsible for system analysis, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and installing portions of new systems and modification of existing systems.

The position requires experience in application and database design, software implementation and graphical user interface design. 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

- 4 year degree in computer science or engineering 
- 4+ years working on web applications
- Strong competency with C#/.NET (.Net 4.0+ preferred). 
- .NET 4.0+
- ASP.NET MVC
- DHTML (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XSLT)
- JavaScript (jQuery)
- XAML
- nHibernate
- SQL
- WCF
- Microsoft PRISM
- Microsoft Enterprise Libraries (Logging, Exception Handling, ServiceLocator, etc.)
- Understanding of multi-tier architectures including client-side vs. Server Side
- Knowledge and demonstrated experience with cross-browser and cross-platform issues (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Chrome)
- Competence in TDD         
- Strong competency with C#/.NET (.Net 4.0+ preferred)
- Experience in development techniques:
- Object Oriented
- Domain driven design (DDD)
- Test driven development (TDD)
- Continuous integration (CI)
- Inversion of Control (IoC)/Dependency Injection (DI)
