Net Software Developer

.Net Software Developer - International Company - South Dublin - 6 month Fixed Term Salaried Contract - 40,000/44,000

You will be working within a team environment developing tools and applications for client facing projects that will be used to support and grow their business.

The role will also involve mentoring junior developers and supporting them to ensure best practice and current technologies and methodologies are in place and being adhered to.

This role will also provide support to the Development Lead and aid with scheduling, forecasting, resourcing and task assignments.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE;

Design, develop and configure .NET applications in accordance with agreed customer requirement specifications
Communicate with clients, take ownership and resolve issues
Ensure all deliverables for projects are completed on time, to budget and within quality standards
Work closely with the Technical Architect to help design our solutions to meet the current and future business needs.
Assist the Development Lead in production of estimates for development activity.
Actively seek ways to improve process and procedures.
Provide coaching and mentoring to your colleagues through but not limited to advice, technical assistance and code reviews.

TECHNOLOGIES SKILLS REQUIRED;

3 years + .NET software development within a commercial environment
Excellent in C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Entity Framework, LinQ,
Web development skills, including JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3
Object-oriented programming
Design focused and a working understanding of usability
jQuery, AJAX, CSS and Javascript is desirable
Experience of full software lifecycle and different methodologies.
Strong working knowledge of Visual Studio, SQL Server, WCF and TFS is desirable.
