NET Senior Consultant

The contract is with a consultancy based in Brussels to be on assignment to a large client site in The Hague, Netherlands.

The client is looking for a .NET Senior Consultant as follows:

- Essential professional exp: min 8 years exp and proficiency in software development; min of 5 years with .NET technologies (C#); min 5 years exp with SAP.NET; min 5 years exp with Transact SQL.
- Desirable exp: 2 years exp with JQuery; 2 years exp with ASP.NET MVC.
- Desirable professional knowledge: knowledge and exp in Object Oriented programming; knowledge of UML as a means for capturing and transferring software design information; knowledge of test-driven based development; knowledge on design and versioning best practices for web services and how to implement them in a contract first manner; knowledge of XML, XML schema and WDSL design; knowledge of Visual Studio and TFS; good knowledge of MS Build as build tool; knowledge of SOA architecture and design; knowledge of iterative development methodology (eg. Scrum, MSF).
