.Net, MVC, REST Lead Developer - C#, MVC 4/ Web API, HTTP, SQL Server, ASP.Net, TDD/ BDD, Agile - City of London - 350-500 per day

This is a critical role for my client and a key element of the profile is that the candidate has a thorough understanding of RESTful services. The position is a pivotal one within a large Change programme which will include significant development of a substantial website portfolio and an experienced .Net, MVC, REST Lead Developer is required to join a software development team responsible for all website projects.

.Net, MVC, REST Lead Developer Role Profile:

- Design and develop browser-based software solutions in a .Net, C#, MVC framework
- Develop website solutions using an Agile, TDD/ BDD approach
- Ensure that software applications exceed customer specifications
- Work with a structured, object-orientated approach

.Net, MVC, REST Lead Developer Skills and Experience:

- At least 4 years' experience of using C# and .Net
- A thorough knowledge of MVC 4 (Web API) and SQL Server
- Significant experience using HTTP and REST
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

You will play a critical role within a development team which carries responsibility for developing the Group's most business-critical website solutions. Experience in any of: Jira, SQL/ RDBMS, XQuery or working with offshore teams would also be useful.
