Net Developer/Webmaster

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- To act as technical advisor on web related technologies, researching answers to questions and escalating problems to external vendors as necessary
- To provide technical architecture, direction, standards and management for web applications, including inhouse and outsourced development work and third party packages. To provide input into web useability standards and user experience designs
- To work closely with business analysts and/or the end-user/customer to design and deliver business systems that are aligned with business objectives
- To maintain inhouse web based applications and integration of these systems with other business systems
- To provide technical mentorship to the Junior Developer and to provide coverage for the Developer/Report Writer during periods of absence

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

- Strong experience as an analyst programmer ideally within small to medium corporate environments with advanced, demonstrable skills in:
- Web Front End development using Microsoft .NET 3.5 (VB/C#), XML, HTML and JavaScript (including JQuery)
- Application development using Microsoft .NET 3.5 ASP, VB, C#, Winforms)
- Windows Communication Foundation Design & Development experience
- VBScript and VB 6.0
- Relational Database with high level of competency in SQL Server 2005+
- Transact SQL, Stored Procedures, Data Transformation Services/SSIS, SQL Profiler and SQL Execution Plan
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of SDLC methodologies
- Previous Source Control Management experience eg TFS, CVS etc
