Net Developer (Q1)

A new long term contract opportunity has arisen for 2 x .NET Developers within this large scale Queensland Government Department.

The 2 x .NET Developers will be will be developing the technology that will help enable the enterprise architecture for the client and assist with the application architecture to ensure the integration strategies are met.

The Senior Developer reports to the Program Manager and will perform software development, planning and direct other project development resources in line with the project plans.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS ROLE WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING;

- Demonstrated solid experience with Service Oriented Application Development techniques as well as web application development skills.
- Demonstrated familiarity with integration and infrastructure technology and an understanding of the demands placed on it by business change and growth.
- Significant experience in the translation of business requirements into a technical design and to transform that design into a working application.
- Extensive experience in the development of integration and application specification and design as well as experience in Service Oriented application development and Web application development.
- Demonstrated significant experience (at least 3 years) using Microsoft's .NET development tools including ASP .NET and C#.
- Demonstrated solid understanding of commercial systems development processes and the ability to meet tight deadlines, to be self-driven and motivated in a multidisciplinary environment is essential.
- Microsoft Developer Studio version 2010 especially C# and ASP.NET
- Microsoft Team Foundation Server 2010
- Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2
- Microsoft MVC
