NET Developer - OCS/Assessment Systems

This is an initial 10 month contract opportunityOverview
The Online Customer Services (OCS) application is one of the top priorities for the Assessment Business unit. Enhancing and expanding the offering of functionality to citizens as well as business unit staff is the purpose of this project. The application has internal facing (for business unit staff) and external facing components (for citizens), including GIS maps, assessment valuation summaries and other reports. Externally facing transactional capabilities are the next step of this application's evolution. The solution is built on the CAAF and .NET frameworks. Role and Responsibilities
Work with the client subject matter experts, Business Analyst and lead the development team to implement features in the scope of the project, and other project deliverables as identified by the Application Centre 4 project management team and as defined as part of the Systems Delivery Methodology.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in developing .NET applications, test plans, test cases, mentoring business staff to develop test plans and test scripts, and to coordinate many aspects of Business System Acceptance Testing. The successful candidate will need to work closely with the client department, business analysts and with the development team.

- Work in a team environment, demonstrating innovation, initiative, a customer service focus, positive ambassadorship and the ability to meet commitments.
- Previous work experience with the following tools: i) ArcGIS ii) WCF iii) CSS, AJAX and Javascript iv) Silverlight and JSON v) TFS vi) CAAF vii) Telerik for ASP.NET viii) HP Test Director
