NET Developer Microservices

Our client is currently looking for a .NET Developer for an initial 6 month contract based in Brussels.
Experience level: 5 years of .NET development experience
Responsibilities include:
- Design and build highly scalable, resilient, performant microservices
- Collaborate with app teams to integrate the microservices
- Work on developing testing processes, frameworks, and automation strategies
- Work with platform architects on software and system optimizations, helping to identify and remove potential performance bottlenecks
- Document the work you do, especially APIs that you create eg. Swagger, confluence
Requirements:
- Knowledge of .net Core and Docker
- Knowledge of .net web development
o Proven experience with REST API
o Experience with Asp.NET MVC and WebAPI
o Experience with React is a plus
- Knowledge of Microservices is mandatory, hands-on experience in a project is a plus
- Knowledge of messaging systems like KAFKA or MQTT
- Experience working in an agile team
- Strong team player with good communication skills (strong knowledge of English is a must)
- Knowledge of GIT is expected, Jenkins & Jira is a plus
