NET Developer Job

.NET DEVELOPER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in MELBOURNE, FL.

THE BIG PICTURE:

- Support web architecture, Legacy applications, enterprise-wide applications and software upgrades.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Develop C# .NET applications using Visual Studio 2010 or higher.
- Use SVN, JIRA, and Remedy for source control and issue tracking.
- Evaluate and recommend web architecture and process improvements.
- Troubleshoot web applications developed in-house and by external developers.
- Provide web application support for individual users and enterprise-wide applications used by the division.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BSCS, BSSE, BSIS plus five (5) plus years of applicable experience
- Five years' experience with C#. JavaScript and JQuery experience.
- AJAX and web services experience. Leadership skills and software lead experience.
- Good organizational skills, excellent problem solving skills, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to work with teams and individuals.
- Must demonstrate the ability to learn new skills, meet deadlines, embrace new technologies, and follow process.
- Must be capable of gathering and interpreting requirements, have used some form of source control, and can review code, locate problems, provide and receive feedback on code.
- Must be able to self-start and solve problems quickly.
- Must demonstrate ability to create user friendly front ends and must be able to write maintainable code.
- Experienced Software Engineer/Web Developer to create web applications for the Intranet and Extranet using C# .NET and SQL.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- ColdFusion, HTML5, CSS 3, MVC framework, SVN, Visual Studio, Toad/SQL Developer, MS SQL Server Management Studio, Dreamweaver, and IIS administration.
