NET Developer - Front Office Applications Banking Switzerland

.NET DEVELOPER - FRONT OFFICE APPLICATIONS BANKING SWITZERLAND

START DATE: 1/5/13

CONTRACT: 6 MONTH+

LOCATION: ZURICH SWITZERLAND

One of my clients, a leading Investment bank based in Zurich Switzerland is urgently looking for a senior .NET Developer with a strong background in development front and Back Office applications.

This is to join one of the most fast paced and dynamic teams within the bank for a long term contract. This is not project based work and the Client is looking for someone who is interested in a long term perspective.

.NET Developer Skills:

- At least 5 years of commercial experience with .NET Development
- Good MS SQL knowledge
- The successful candidate must be able to work front to back on all conceptual levels: GUI, Application Server, database
- This role is 100% development and coding, project or line management activities are not expected.
- The person should be able to take over the technical leadership at feature, release, project or application level

Technical Tools:

- MS Visual Studio 2012
- Redgate SQL
- MS SQL Server
- MS Report Server
- MS IIS
- TeamCity build automation server, SVN, NAnt, Powershell
- Enterprise Architect

Methodologies are RAD and SCRUM

- The candidate should also have basic knowledge in the financial instrument area (equity, Fixed Income, alternative investments)
- Experience working with structured investment products is a huge plus, but not mandatory
- Very good English and communication skills is a MUST
- German is a small plus
- The candidate should be able to work in self-organizing team, without permanent Line Management supervision.
