NET Developer - Contract

.NET DEVELOPER - CONTRACT

KEY SKILLS:.NET, C#, MVC 4/5, SQL Server, JQuery, OO design

DESIRED SKILLS:Telerik Kendo, Selenium, TDD, knowledge of share options schemes

My client is currently seeking a .NET Contractor on an initial 3 -6 month basis, the candidate must have the following competencies:

RESPONSIBLE:

Understand and follow the software development life cycle, Ensuring non-functional requirements (performance, auditing, security, on-going support) are considered during development

To promote developer buy in to environmental tools and work ethic

Reports on weak points in the team, processes, technology and service

Ensures software and processes are correctly documented to ensure single points of knowledge do not become a problem.

THE FOLLOWING CAPABILITIES ARE PARTICULARLY IMPORTANT FOR THIS ROLE:

A passion and aptitude for delivery, with a Can-do attitude and approach

Must be able to ensure software is delivered with the Production/Operation at the forefront of thinking;

Ability to quickly understand current applications and systems and how they interact;

Capable of working on multiple concurrent work streams across multiple changes, driving and coordinating development staff to a quality conclusion in agreed timescales;

Extensive years of experience in technology delivery, working to deliver project specification.

Able to work with Agile, Traditional and Hybrid delivery models;

Must have a demonstrable application development background/programming experience and be comfortable acting as a Team Lead.

Experience across but not limited to - TFS, Team Management, Microsoft Visual Studio, .NET Development Stack, Enterprise Architect, Continuous Integration.
