We are looking for a skilled .NET developer who wants to be part of a high performance team that delivers state-of-the-art, value adding solutions to our business stakeholders.
The eTrade IT team was established to build and integrate the next generation of electronic trading applications for buy- and sell-side FX, Fixed Income and Equities.
Drive implementation
Your job is to drive the implementation of a new configuration system for managing client- and system specific settings for our trading platform. The responsibility also includes developing new trading functionality with integration to existing Back End systems.
As a developer you are able to solve complex tasks with simple solutions, keeping the overall picture in mind. And you recognise the worth of working closely with our business stakeholders and developing your software to meet their requirements. You will also work closely with the team testers to ensure the highest level of quality in your deliverables. And when required, you provide 3rd level support on relevant eTrade systems.
Experience with C#/.NET software development
You have documented experience with C#/.NET software development (ASP.NET does not count) and extensive knowledge of the following areas:
.NET Framework 3.5 +
C#
Winforms and/or WPF
WCF
SQL Server
Unit Tests
Source control systems such as Git, Perforce and TFS.
In addition, you are familiar with the financial products trading domain and experienced with multithreaded, Server Side development, automated testing and CI and Atlassian products (Confluence, Jira, Stash, Bamboo) it is a plus. Besides all your technical skills, you hold a "can do" attitude that will help the team achieve its objectives. Fluency in English is a requirement.
