.Net Developer - Brussels - French or Dutch Speaker
1-year contract
Day rate: €400
Must speak French or Dutch!
About the Project: To perform development work in a dotnet banking application and in a service management application.
Role:
- Elaborate the detailed technical design, starting from a functional analysis
- Develop application functionality, based on the detailed design, including unit tests, integration testing and documentation
- Optionally, participate in test scenario definition and testing
- Have a thorough knowledge of the entire development process, the development environment and tools
-Experience in banking environment is a plus
Tasks to be performed:
- Understanding of the need of the final customer by a thorough implication in the translation of the Business Requirements into an application that covers the Business needs.
- Strong implication in functional design
- Strong implication or full responsibility of the technical design
- Development of a .net application
- Perform Unit testing & provide test report
- Implement quality control and measure quality based on pre-defined KPI's
- Active involvement in SIT, support of test team, issues resolution
- Active involvement in UAT, support of BU test team, issues resolution
- Continuous support during warranty period
- Involvement in application maintenance once in production, ie incident and problem resolution.
Requirements
- .NET framework 2.0 and above
- OO/Design patterns/enterprise application dev principles
- Web development (general web knowledge, HTML, CSS, JQuery, ASP.NET MVC, Angular JS)
- Service development (ASP.NET, ASP.NET webservices, Web API WCF en REST)
- Database development (NHibernate en SQL Server inclusive stored procedures)
- Service development (ASP.NET web services, WCF, Web API
- Strong code analysis skills
- Working in a continuous integration environment (automated build, unit tests, Subversion)
- Good understanding of version control systems (branching, merging, conflict resolving)
Soft skills:
- Teamplayer
- E2E Responsible
- Focus on quality and delivering results
- Stress resistant
- Independent, self-organizing person
- Should be self-motivated
