Tasks (.NET Backend Developer) - Brussels

Develop and configure the Access Points components according to the design and specification documents.

Identify and propose technical solutions for the design and development of Access Point components.

Work and collaborate within an agile development team of .NET and BizTalk experts.

Document the solution in a clear and well structured format.

Develop with a continuous integration mind-set: work test driven, automate unit and integration tests, automate builds and deployment.

Provide 3rd line support in a challenging and heterogeneous IT environment.

The candidate will report to the Access Point team lead

Technical skills
Excellent knowledge and experience in .NET development, with a focus on Back End development (database, messaging, security, web services, integration).
Willing to get trained into Microsoft BizTalk Server technology, which is used as EESSI Access Point software. Prior knowledge on Microsoft BizTalk Server is a plus, but not a must.
Excellent knowledge and experience in Microsoft SQL Server and how to programmatically access its data in a high performing way via Entity Framework.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Team Foundation Server and how to setup automatic testing, build and deployment.
Able to identify solutions to complex technical problems regarding systems integration and electronic message exchange.
Good understanding of interoperability standards and protocols: SOAP, WS-Security, MIME, AS2, AS4
Excellent knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture concepts.
Excellent knowledge of XML and related technologies.
Excellent knowledge and experience of integration concepts: enterprise application integration and/or business-to-business messaging.
