Due to internal progression and movement within the business Capita based in Bristol are now looking to recruit an experienced C# Developer to join their existing team.

You will be required to support and maintain several existing software systems, from a project work and BAU (business as usual) perspective as well as to design/build/implement software "upgrades" using appropriate toolsets following the software life cycle and IT Development procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- C# .NET 3.5
- SQL 2005/2008 - T-SQL, Stored Procedures, database architecture and design
- Good experience of code re-use#
- Create technical design solutions from functional requirement documents
- Develop software to system specifications
- Test programs and unit modules to system specification
- Deliver quality software to agreed timescales
- Strong Object Oriented development experience
- Full knowledge of SDLC

DESIRABLE SKILLS FOR THE POSITION OF DEVELOPER

- Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
- Smart Client Software Factory (SCSF)
- Knowledge of Oracle 11g from a development perspective (PL/SQL)
- Team Foundation Server
- UML
- Software design patterns
