On behalf of our client, a leading global company within finance, we are looking for a .NET DEVELOPER. For this contract position based in Zürich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible. Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity with a market leading global company then please have a look at the details:
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Produce high quality and documented C# code
- Test and report in automated and manual way your code
- Write code to develop and support new and existing functionalities
- 60 % development, 20 % testing and 20 % maintenance tasks
The skills and experience needed for this position are:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or IT or similar
- 5+ years of experience in Software Development in:
- C#$
- .Net
- XML
- WebServices
- MQ
- FTP
- HTTP
- Proficient knowledge in source code control systems (like SVN)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Server 2008 R2
- Good Knowledge of SQL
- Experience of Agile practices and processes (eg SCRUM, KANBAN)
- Banking knowhow, especially in Secured Lending is a plus
- Team player
- Fluent written and spoken English
