To reinforce the existing .NET team as part of SHIPS Development team, we are looking for a:
.NET developer
The candidate should have a product development life cycle process experience, which includes technical design, programming, testing and maintenance.
• You will join the SHIPS development team.
• You will contribute to extend the existing business logic.
• You will be in close contact with the product development manager.
Technical skills:
Required
• C# / .NET 3.5+, Expert LINQ
• Microsoft Visual Studio
• Object-oriented development, Service-oriented development
• Unit testing
• XML
• Design patterns, algorithm design
• N-tier architecture
Assets
• DB2/Oracle
• nUnit

Personal skills:
• You have a Bachelor degree in IT.
• A solid experience in a similar function is desirable.
• Excellent knowledge of English is a must.
• Acquaintance with vessel and container operations is a plus.
• You strive for solid and performant solutions.
• You have a result driven approach and are able to work with deadlines.
• A good analytical mindset and good communication skills (sharing ideas and strategies with team members, provide feedback when necessary) are assets of yours.
• You are able to work independently as well as in a team and are capable of working in a dynamic project environment.
• You show eagerness to learn new technologies.
• You are a product developer and write solid code that can be used in multiple hostile environments for years to come.
• You have experience in algorithm design and are able to do more than move data from database to GUI and back by using popular frameworks.
• You are able to use a debugger beyond setting a breakpoint.
