Net Developer

We are seeking a .net Developer for one year long contract position in Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities:

Working closely with operations, underwriting and staff to create custom software solutions
Developing new applications and providing enhancements to existing systems
Coordinating software development efforts with external software development team members
Business process re-engineering (automating and/or simplifying existing processes)
Writing scope/requirements definitions for the creation of software applications
Test and deploy custom software solutions
Development of robust and user-friendly .NET based web applications
Design and creation of relational database schemas using MS SQL Server
Application/Framework design as needed
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple timelines and complete tasks quickly within the constraints of organization's timelines and budgets
Support and enhancement of existing sites and applications
Manage project tasks, timelines, and communication
Other tasks as needed for successful project completion

Skills

5-7 years of progressive professional experience in the software development field
Solid programming experience with ASP.NET/C# .NET and SQL Server
Experience building web applications using MVC and Entity Framework
Experience with standard Web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery
Working knowledge of building service-oriented applications using WCF framework
Web site development with .NET technologies and working knowledge of JavaScript and HTML
Skilled in Object-Oriented programming
Working knowledge in Oracle and SQL development
Experience with Git version control system

Desired Skills
Bachelor's degree in Information systems or Computer Science
Ability to work in Agile/SCRUM environment
Test Driven Development
Experience with web development technologies - JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery,
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2012
