Contract Opportunity

It is using the latest Microsoft technologies including: Visual Studio 2012 and .NET MVC programming, all in an Agile team environment. 

This position offers a good pay rate and a GOOD LIKELIHOOD OF BEING EXTENDED LARGE SHOP THAT IS CONVERTING ALL OF THEIR TECHNOLOGY TO THE MICROSOFT SUITE.

THE LINE OF BUSINESS HAS A NUMBER OF LEGACY APPLICATIONS USING TECHNOLOGY FRAMEWORKS WHICH ARE OUT of support (SQL 2000, Visual Basic 6) that need to be upgraded to current standards. Applications which require this work include: Clinic Entry Online (CLEO) and Emergency Preparedness Staffing System (EPSS).

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS: 
End-to-end Microsoft .NET system development using Visual Studio 2012, including developing database connections using entity framework, familiarity with C#/MVC programming, ability to work in Agile team environment. Also need understanding of claims-based security and secure programming methods.

LIST OF DELIVERABLES:
Design and develop user interfaces pages and controller code from specifications that will be provided.  The specifications will include user interface wire frames, user interface requirements document and a UML diagram. The code will be accepted after a review by development team members.
