Net Developer

Our client is looking for a .NET developer to join their team on a contract basis for a period of 6 months. This role is for a software developer who has worked extensively on VB.NET on desktop applications (Winforms, WPF and WCF).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Working in the team of developers to efficiently deliver high quality solutions
- Implement set deliverables by strict deadlines
- Analysis, design, development and testing work
- System, user and operational acceptance test support
- Develop in complex environments comprising of multiple platforms
- A commitment to quality, attention to detail, and a thorough approach to work

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills:

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Extensive hands on commercial experience in desktop application development
- Must have experience working on C++
- Essential to have experience on VB6 and VB .NET
- Working knowledge in Access 2003 and VBA
- Expertise in SQL server development

YOU SHOULD HAVE:

- Good communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Previous experience of client liaison
